1-Amidinopyrazole hydrochloride (1) reacts with primary and secondary amines to yield the corresponding guanidines.1) Moreover, the N-Boc/Ts-protected guanidine 3 can be also obtained using the corresponding N-Boc/Ts-protected derivative 2.2) It is also reported that a solid phase guanidinylation can be performed using cellulose-suported guanidine compound 4.3)
